Meditation at BloomBars: In meditation we seek to connect with the moment - by focusing on our breathing, we return to an awareness of ourselves, our nature, the moment, and the energy around us - a state of connectivity that, as artists and art lovers, deepens our experiences. The purpose of meditation at BloomBars is to provide a space and community to explore seated meditation to deepen our experience of the moment, our appreciation of art, and examine the workings of our lives. Meetings consist of 20-30 minutes of silent seated meditation with some guidance from the facilitator, resident artist Gary Prince [who is bananas! LOVE IT!] www.BloomBars.com

Director Keith Maitland takes an extraordinary peek into their world where learning to cross an intersection, cook a meal or navigate an unfamiliar place can be much more difficult than any calculus lesson.
