20 Best Black Sitcoms, Says The Grio

The distribution by network is amusing. You can already guess who the most recent manufacturer of Black-on-TV has been (cough:UPN:cough:WB:cough:CW:cough).
But "way back when", NBC did do its share of Black programming, and I'll go out on a limb and say they did the best job as far as diversity within Black programming goes.

See if your favorite made the cut. No. 1 is a 'shocker'...

Can't believe I'm saying this, but...shoutout to FOX. MAN! The ironies! (Do you know how much I miss 'Living Single'?? And BET just ran a marathon of 'In Living Color' this weekend??) There's a great book by Dr. Kristal Brent Zook on FOX as Black TV magnate in its earlier days.
