Talk about a song that doesn't end...
Jeffrey Sarver says this movie is clearly about his life. Screenwriter Mark Boal did write an article about bomb disposal experts in Iraq for Playboy, which did indeed feature Sarver, but he says Jeremy Renner's character is a fictional mashup of many real-life experiences.
